Quality identification of leather shoes

1. Upper (upper): The upper is one of the main components of leather shoes. For smooth leather shoes, it depends on whether it is soft and plump. After pressing the upper with your hands, whether there is loose surface phenomenon. A good upper should be plump and soft, comfortable to the touch, with uniform luster and no loose surface phenomenon. For the upper of suede shoes, attention should be paid to check whether the fluff is short and even, and the tone should also be consistent. The lining is a part of the upper, which is used to reinforce the upper, prevent the upper from stretching and deforming, and improve the feeling of the foot. Therefore, a good shoe lining material (such as real leather shoe lining) should have good touch, air permeability and moisture drainage, and it should not be easy to decolorize. In terms of sewing, there should be no wrinkles and fat edges in the shoes.

2. Insole: Usually men's leather shoes use the second half of the insole pad or heel pad. Women's leather shoes with a full pad covering the insole. The insole has the function of keeping the inner sole of the shoe clean and covering the unevenness of the inner sole to improve the feeling of the foot. Therefore, the insole should have good moisture absorption and drainage. In terms of workmanship, the insole should be flatly adhered to the inner sole, and there should be no floating folds.

3. Outsole: From the appearance point of view, the bonding state around the outsole should be closely bonded without gaps, and the bottom surface should be flat.

4. Heel: Whether it is low heel or high heel, first of all, it depends on whether it matches with the leather shoes naturally and evenly. For women's leather shoes with a half-heel or more, the following two points are more important: first, the heel should be firmly installed on the inner sole. It should not shake when swinging back and forth; second, the palm surface should not be smaller than the heel bottom surface.

5. Insole: On the one hand, look at the material of the insole, preferably genuine leather. On the other hand, it is better to press the waist firmly with your hands, which is equivalent to the part of the instep when wearing shoes, and it is better not to move at all. Under the action of this force, if the edge of the leather shoe is deformed, it means that the quality of the shoe is problematic.

6. Stability: Put the leather shoes on a flat surface, and the leather shoes should stand still immediately. Such leather shoes have good stability, which is also one of the basic conditions for high-quality leather shoes.
